The gorge presents a silents as well as fascintating vista . It is of 300 ft deep down, and to make you feel its depthness I can say - if you throw a stone here, you will hear sound after 90 secs. It is so sudden deep and sharp that the iron railing is the only thing saving one from an accidental fall. Now, What I heard about this amazing point from their local guide is two different story - First is the mythological story of lord shiv - There was lake and a demon snake resided in the lake located here and Mahadev had a battled with it and killed the devilish snake.
